Skull and Bones: The closed beta

Skull and Bones: The closed beta falls flat on these platforms

Once again, Skull and Bones has made the headlines. As expected, the reason for the report is not necessarily pleasant from the point of view of potential fans.

Once again, the Ubisoft title Skull and Bones has made it into the limelight with a somewhat abstruse story. Numerous shifts and problems in development are mostly the reasons why the game attracts attention in the press. Now the closed beta of the planned adventure title has pushed itself to the fore of the reports. Finally, this same beta, which is scheduled to take place from August 25th to 28th , will not be available on certain platforms.

No closed beta on consoles

Actually, there was the possibility to register for the beta on the PC, the Playstation 5 and the Xbox Series X/S. However, it was leaked through the game’s Discord server that the closed beta will only be available for PC. A member of the team behind Skull and Bones (buy now) spoke up a short time later on this Discord server. According to the person, participation in the beta on consoles was never planned.

Nevertheless, there was the possibility of registering for the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. These options have since been removed from the game’s official website. It remains to be seen how the stories surrounding the Ubisoft title will continue to develop. In any case, the game, which was shown for the first time in 2017, does not necessarily have the best reputation even before its release. The title last appeared on our website in May. Unsurprisingly, the game was postponed to the current financial year .
