Will Call of Duty be replaced? XDefiant is already flying high in the beta
The currently running closed beta of the multiplayer shooter XDefiant is a huge success and a pointer in the direction of Call of Duty. According to Ubisoft, the test phase was even able to reach a major milestone.
Beta extended due to the onslaught
The enormous popularity among the fans is not without consequences: Normally, the end of the XDefiant closed beta was already scheduled for yesterday (Sunday, April 23, 2023).
But Ubisoft wants to give players additional time to let off steam in the beta of the multiplayer shooter. Therefore, the publisher has postponed the end of the test phase to April 26 at 8:00 a.m. German time – i.e. this Wednesday. Anyone who has not yet found the time to get a taste of what is happening in the game is thus offered another opportunity .
When is XDefiant coming out?
The end of the closed beta is another important step towards the release of XDefiant.
So far, however, no specific date has been set for the release of the Free2Play shooter . The development studio Ubisoft San Francisco ( South Park: The Fractured But Whole ) is working feverishly on the completion, possibly in the course of this year . The release is planned for the PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
